Twenty different Husky swimmers and divers put their name on the score sheet as Central Connecticut (4-3, 2-0 NEC) outswam Northeastern (6-3, 2-2 CAA) in the final race to take the meet 151-149.
 
The teams were even split in first place finishes, each notching eight. Megan Clark grabbed two, while Delaney Lanker, Carly Schnabel, Sara Touchette-McGowan and Kerry Treusdell each contributed one.
 
Northeastern outscored Central Connecticut 58-37 in freestyle events and 26-12 in the butterfly, however, the Blue Devils held a strong 29-9 advantage in both the backstroke and breaststroke. The Huskies also controlled the relays, outperforming CCSU 26-8.
 
On the diving board, Caroline Gonsalves shined for the Red and Black, earning second in both events behind the top diver in the NEC. Gonsalves recorded a score of 275.55 in the three-meter event and set a new season high of 261.97 in the one-meter.

Northeastern continues its tour of the NEC next weekend, traveling to LIU Brooklyn for a tri-meet with Wagner on Jan. 27th and 28th.
