2016 SEC Swimming & Diving Championship

16 Feb 2016 – 20 Feb 2016

The 2016 SEC Championships kicked off yesterday with action sure to be just the tip of the iceberg for what’s in store over the 5-day affair. After Day 1, the Tennessee Volunteer women find themselves in first place, tied with Kentucky with 154 points.

A team highlight came in the form of the women’s 200 medley relay final, where the Volunteer women came out on top with a stellar 1:35.86, their best of the season. In the closely contested battle, senior Faith Johnson scorched a 21.65 anchor to pull out the win and give Tennessee its 5th victory in the event over the last 7 years.
