The SwimMAC team of Erika Brown, Alyssa Marsh, Christina Lappin, and Jessica Merritt took down the girls’ 800 free relay junior national meet record at Speedo Junior Nationals East posting a time of 7:11.88 for the win.

The previous record belonged to Illinois’ Patriot Aquatic Club, which was a 7:16.71 set in December of 2013. At the Speedo Junior Nationals West, Ozaukee Aquatics touched out at 7:16.19 thanks in part to a 1:45.37 anchor from Katie Drabot, which is faster than the PAC old record but isn’t enough to knock off SwimMAC.
