Video Interview: Dean Boles – Bringing The World To Us

  0 Mitch Bowmile | December 08th, 2014

Dean Boles is the provincial mentor coach for Swim Ontario, and was partly responsible for bringing together the first Ontario Junior International which happened to be the first big competition at the new Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre.

Boles’ goal along with the rest of Swim Ontario is to grow the sport in the province, and start looking at international competition to set the standard for Canadian athletes.

Boles has gotten the opportunity to work with many of the top Canadian up-and-comers including Rebecca Smith who broke a Canadian record this weekend at the meet.

With the new facility, Boles wants to make sure that a world class facility capable of international competition is used for such a purpose and that they will continue to bring the world to them in order to introduce Canadians to more frequent, high-level competition.
