Nor’wood Development Group donates land for Olympic Museum in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs, home of the U.S. Olympic Training Center and the headquarters for USA Swimming, will get another Olympic attraction, a museum and Hall of Fame. Nor’wood Development Group has donated around 2 acres of land to house the new museum.

Colorado Springs is working to improve its visibility as a destination city for tourists, with a City for Champions campaign approved by the Colorado Economic Development Commission. The Olympic Museum and Hall of Fame is one part of that effort.

The Colorado Springs Business Journal reports more details on the site, which is said to have good visibility from I-25, the major highway in the area, plus great views of the surrounding Rocky Mountains.
