We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable swim coaches who share our passion for the sport and is committed to developing the next generation of youth athletes.
We are currently hiring for both Senior (13+) and Age Group (12 & Under) coaching positions. These roles involve leading your own training group.
The ideal candidate is motivated, dependable, and eager to create a positive, structured, and development-focused environment that helps swimmers grow both in and out of the pool.
Qualifications:
- Previous coaching experience and/or competitive swimming background (collegiate experience preferred, but not required)
- Strong knowledge of swimming technique, training methodology, and competitive meet preparation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with athletes, parents, and coaching staff
- Ability to create and maintain a positive, structured, and development-focused training environment
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to helping athletes reach their full potential
- Ability and willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented coaching environment
- Commitment to upholding the core values and high standards of Condors Swim Club
- USA Swimming Coach Membership in good standing required prior to start date (not required to apply)
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; no sponsorship available
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Plan and lead daily practices in alignment with the club’s coaching philosophy under the direction of the Head Coach
- Build and maintain strong relationships with swimmers and parents through consistent and professional communication
- Collaborate regularly with the Head Coach and Head Age Group Coach to ensure alignment in training plans, athlete development, and program direction across all groups
- Foster a positive, disciplined, and team-oriented training environment that reflects the values of the club
- Prepare athletes for successful progression within the program and transitions between training groups
- Complete meet entries and manage athlete event selection
- Coach athletes at swim meets, including local and travel competitions, providing consistent meet-side leadership and support (travel expenses reimbursed per club policy)
- Assist with other training groups when needed to support overall program consistency and swimmer development
- Coach with energy, professionalism, and engagement at both practices and competitions
- Commit to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement as a coach
- Uphold and promote the mission, values, and culture of Condors Swim Club in all settings
