2026 Sacramento Pro Swim Series

Night two of the Pro Swim Series in Sacramento wrapped up on Thursday, and here are some of the swims you might’ve missed on night two of the action.

In the women’s 100 butterfly, 17-year-old Eleanor Geraghty from Rogue Rapids in Oregon finished 20th, touching in 1:03.04. This swim is a full second drop from her previous best time of 1:04.07, which she swam in July. She is committed to Notre Dame for the fall.

In the same event, 15-year-old Ava Collins from DART finished 18th, stopping the clock in 1:02.27. This was more than two seconds faster than her lifetime best of 1:04.60, which she swam in July of 2025.

In the boys’ 100 butterfly, Swim Streamline 17-year-old Micah Tennison went a best time for the first time in more than two years. He came into the meet with the 57.93 he swam in July of 2023, which he hadn’t matched since. In prelims, he swam 56.20, and then in finals, he dropped another two tenths to swim 55.99, finishing 23rd overall. Tennison is headed to Texas A&M in the fall of 2027.

Another Swim Streamline athlete, 16-year-old Sloane Rocha finished 10th in the women’s 200 breaststroke, stopping the clock in 2:36.44. This was a four second drop from the 2:40.99 she swam in July.

In the men’s 200 breaststroke, Jack Punswick finished 20th in 2:23.67. Punswick was SwimSwam’s 2025 Heart of a Champion Swammy Award winner after he came back to swimming following a months-long battle with cancer through the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025. His swim on Friday night was a new personal best time, taking more than a second off the 2:25.17 he swam in July of 2024 before his cancer diagnosis.

Riptide Swim Team 16-year-old Marin Deenan finished 9th in the women’s 400 IM, stopping the clock in 4:57.33. This was a five second drop from her previous best of 5:02.44, which she set in July of 2025.
