2018 TYR PRO SWIM SERIES – ATLANTA

We’re on to day 2 finals of the 2018 TYR Pro Swim Series stop in Atlanta, Georgia. Tonight’s finals features the 400 IM, 50 free, 200 back, and 200 free. This morning, Louisville NCAA champ Mallory Comerford qualified for the A final of the 50 free and 200 free, but she won’t be competing in finals tonight. Comerford was the 3rd seed for tonight’s 50 free and the 5th seed for the 200 free. Her focus is likely on the 2018 Women’s NCAA Championships, which will take place in Columbus, Ohio just 2 weeks from now.

Another big name on the scratch list tonight is Texas postgrad Will Licon. In the 400 IM, Licon was the 2nd seed for finals tonight. Licon won’t swim in any events tonight after the scratch, but he is slated to swim both the 100 breast and 200 IM in tomorrow’s prelims.
