Dryland: Running 101 with Larry Arnold

Normally, I wouldn’t go out of my way to do running for dryland but with Larry Arnold it’s much more than just running. Learning proper running technique is useful for any young athlete. Many college programs incorporate some running in their fall dryland. Just like anything we do with Larry, the athletes are coming away with a better understanding of how their body moves.

Look I get Larry is good at what he does, motivational etc. But when he gets into the very technical terms for body parts, I think he loses his main audience in this video: kids. I dont think by using the proper terms for the body part is intended to intimidate them, but I bet alot of those kids are left wondering “what is he talking about?” You can tell kids again and again, but they dont know what their bodies are doing in space. I think the breathing aspect of all his exercises is very good, just maybe a bit too technical, but hey what do I know, those are my observations
