Staten Island, NY – The Wagner swimming and diving team has signed five student-athletes to National Letters of Intent, fifth-year head coach Colin Shannahan announced on Wednesday.
Jenna D’Allegro (Skillman, NJ/Montgomery), Katie Mulcahy (Spotswood, NJ/Spotswood), Kelli Boston (Roseville, CA/Woodcreek), Emily Moore (Temecula, CA/Great Oak) and Daniele Polatnick (Huntingdon Valley, PA/Lower Moreland) will all compete for the Seahawks beginning in the 2016-17 season.
“We’re very excited to welcome these five student-athletes into our program,” said Shannahan. “Each of these girls are committed to excelling academically and in the pool. They all have a competitive drive and will add depth to our program as we work towards the ultimate goal of continuing to grow the program to a higher level of competition and skill.”

• Named to the All-Somerset County Girls Swim Team (2014-15)
• Member of the 2014-15 NJ State High School Champion Swim Team
• Member of the 2014-15 Somerset County High School Champion Swim Team
• 12-time YMCA Nationals qualifier
• Captain of the Montgomery High School and Somerset Valley YMCA Swim Team
• Selected and attended the 2014 YMCA National Leadership Development Camp
Katie Mulcahy – Breaststroke / IM
Spotswood, NJ / Spotswood
• 11-time YMCA Nationals qualifier (6-time long course and 5-time short course)
• Captain of the Red Bank YMCA Swim Team under head coach Jack Caucino
• Qualified and competed in the 100 breast, 200 breast, 200 IM and 400 IM at the YMCA Nationals
• Member of the National Honor Society at Spotswood High School
Kelli Boston – Backstroke/ IM
Roseville, CA / Woodcreek
• Two-sport athlete in swimming and water polo

• Finished first in the 2015 Southwestern League Finals in the 200 Free and set the new League Record (1:51.50)
• Invited and attended the NACC Invite for the SCS Team (2012)
• Finished in the Southern California Top 16 in long-course and short-course (2010-11)
Daniele Polatnick – Diver
Huntingdon Valley, PA / Lower Moreland
• Four-year varsity letter winner
• Four-time districts qualifier
• Former competitive gymnast
• Member of the Centennial Diving Club in Philadelphia
“Daniele is going to be a great addition to the Seahawk family,” said head diving coach Meg Marco. “She is a very talented diver and has a lot of room for growth and improvement on both boards. She is going to be a perfect fit for this team.”
Wagner finished second overall at the 2015 NEC Championships to Central Connecticut State by just 24 points. A year prior, the Seahawks earned its first NEC Championship in program history, tallying a total of 844 points, more than 200 points ahead of the second-place finisher, Bryant.
