VIDEO: USMS Nationals challenges 2014 U.S. Pan Pacs team to ‘swim cap challenge’

In what appears to be a twist on the popular ‘ice bucket challenge’ video trend, the whole of US Masters Swimming Nationals have challenged the 2014 U.S. Pan Pacs team to a ‘swim cap challenge.’

Check out the video above – filmed at the Masters National Championships, the video features Masters athletes lined up the entire length of the pool, filling their swim caps with water and dropping them onto their heads. It’s a creative swimmer trick that, when done right, has the cap fall into perfect place atop a swimmer’s head. Let’s just say most of the Masters swimmers featured are able to get there. It’s hard to speculate how good the U.S. National Team would be in comparison (but you kind of suspect Ryan Lochte would be really good at it, right?), but perhaps we’ll find out down the road.
