UNLV Squads Earn Scholar All-America Status

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – In what’s becoming an annual appearance, the UNLV swimming and diving program saw both the men’s and women’s teams recognized as Scholar All-America Teams for the 2016 Spring Semester, the College Swim Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced on Wednesday.
The Rebel women’s team posted a 3.32 GPA over the spring semester, while the men’s program finished with a 3.04 for the semester.
The Spring Team Scholar All-America award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams who have achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in the semester/quarter coinciding with the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
