Texas A&M Swim and Dive dual UIW

The Texas A&M men’s swimming and diving team will take on the University of Incarnate Word Cardinals in dual meet action at 6 p.m. on Friday at the Barshop Natatorium on the UIW campus.

Texas A&M will be seeking to earn its first victory of 2014-15 after dropping a 153-115 decision to Texas last weekend, while UIW, which is the defending Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association champions. will be competing in its first action of the young season. The two teams have met in each of the past three seasons with the Aggies winning 118-97 in 2011-12, 138-98 in 2012-13 and 179-114 in 2013-14.

The dual meet will be a homecoming for a trio of Aggie swimmers from San Antonio – junior team captain Cory Bolleter (Churchill HS), freshman Clay McAnany (Reagan HS) and senior team captain Luke Shaw (Alamo Heights HS).
