Former Johns Hopkins swimmer Mikayla Bisignani is one of nine finalists for the 2021 NCAA Woman of the Year award, which will be awarded on November 9.
2019 NCAA DIII Diver of the Meet Lindsey Ruderman (above) is one of the 30 semi-finalists alongside Nebraska’s Knapton and Johns Hopkins’ Bisignani.
Nine swimmers and divers, along with one water polo player, were nominated for the NCAA Woman of the Year award by their respective conferences.
The Denison Big Red continues to remain the heavy favorites to win both D3 team titles, however, the Amherst women now have a shot at a 6th-place finish.
After winning three individual events at the 2019 NCAA Division III Championships – and setting a new national record in the process – NYU’s Honroe Collins was named Female Swimmer of the Year.
