After the Bryant women took the lead on day one, the Central Connecticut women roared back with three individual event wins to lead on day two.
The 2022 Northeast Conference Championships began Tuesday with the 800 free relay, in which Bryant won for both the men and women.
On Senior Day, the Bryant men and women defeated Marist. Mays, FuKang Wong, Leo Luna, Reagan Lord, Laurel Carey, and Sammi Grenon all won multiple events.
Bryant is holding on to the lead in the women’s meet, heading into the final day of competition leading Central Connecticut State by 87.5 points.
Underclassmen had a field day at the meet, scoring crucial points for their teams.
The Bryant swimming and diving programs celebrated the 2018-19 season at their annual banquet. The year saw the women’s team captured its second-straight Northeast Conference title and the men posted a second-place finish at the MAAC Championships, its highest in program history.
Bryant senior Jillian Rice was named the Swimmer of the Meet after winning the 50, 100, and 200 yard freestyles.
The Bryant Bulldogs haven’t lost yet this week at the Nassau County Aquatic Center.
The Bryant University women’s swimming and diving team closed the dual meet season in dominating fashion on Wednesday with a 201-99 victory over the University of Rhode Island.
