Aimee Willmott is a competitive swimmer who represents England and Great Britain internationally. Wilmott is a 3x Olympian from 2012, 2016, and 2020 and the 2018 Commonwealth champion in the 400 IM. Aimee Willmott has been in the water since she was a child. Her parents got her confident in the water at just age 5, which wasn't surprising considering her father was a competitive swimmer and competed at the 1984 Olympic Games in LA. Willmott won her first age group medal at age 11 and never looked back. In 2010 she represented England at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, where she swam the 400 IM and placed 5th in the final. She went on to represent England/Great Britain at major international meets for numerous years to come. At her home Olympics in 2012 in London, she placed 11th in the 400 IM. In 2019, Willmott started her own business called Willmott Swim Skills, providing swimmers with elite knowledge of the sport while having fun.
