Roanoke College Receives Commitment From Logan Deal

Logan Deal, a high school senior from Mechanicsville, Virginia, has committed to swim for Division III Roanoke College. Deal will graduate from Lee Davis High School in spring 2021 join the Maroons’ class of 2025.

Deal currently swims for the Hanover Aquatics Inc. At the 2020 VHSL Class 4 State Championships, he placed 4th in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 59.11.

  • 50 freestyle – 21.94
  • 1650 freestyle – 16:36.75
  • 100 breaststroke – 59.11

At the 2020 ODAC Championships with the Maroons, Deal would have placed 3rd in the 1650 freestyle (16:36.75), 7th in the 100 breaststroke (59.11) and 11th in the 50 freestyle (21.94) with his current best times.

At this meet, the Roanoke men placed 2nd as a team. The team was given Scholar All-American status and 20 were given All-Conference honors.
