RACE VIDEO: Katie Ledecky roars away from Lotte Friis in 400 to win Austin Grand Prix

16-year-old Katie Ledecky kicks off 2014 in big fashion, winning the 400 free in 4:04.46. Denmark’s Lotte Friis was in the pool after beating Ledecky at Dual in the Pool, but this time Ledecky emerged victorious.

Ledecky, who swims for Nation’s Capital Swim Club, had an amazing 2013 campaign and is fast becoming one of the most dangerous distance swimmers on the planet as a teenager.

Universalsports are ABSOLUTELY USELESS for those outside USA, as they ban us from watching them.

It’s really ridiculous. Does USASwimming actually sell international rights to anyone?
