Florida State’s Logan Robinson and New Auburn Tiger Arsen Kozhakhmetov, a rising junior transfer from NC State, each stood out with strong showings in Auburn at the Richard Quick Invitational in late June, with Robinson notching two best times, while Kozhakhmetov nearly downed a career best of his own.

Robinson, who notched a pair of lifetime bests in the meet, also notched an individual event win. Robinson outpaced the field in the 100 fly, touching in 52.57, just missing his lifetime best of 52.12 from the 2025 Futures Championships in Ocala. Robinson also added a pair of sprint best times, as he charged to a runner-up finish in the 50 free in 23.16, improving on his best time, which he swam in the prelims in 23.50. He also swam his best time in the 50 fly in the prelims in 24.33, nearly going faster in the finals in 24.36.

Kozhakhmetov, the Kazakhstan native, only swam the 50 breast at this meet, touching in 27.80, just off his best time from the 2025 Kazakhstan National Championships in 27.51. It was also the fastest of his four 50 breaststroke events at the meet, and the only time he clocked under 28 seconds.

On the women’s side, Ava Lowrance of TNT Swimming, an uncommitted class of 2029 recruit, was among the meet’s biggest performers, clocking career-best times in the 50 free (27.84), 50 breast (32.95), 100 breast (1:13.12), 200 breast (2:49.06), and the 50 fly (28.86). She also picked up three wins at the meet, those coming in the 50 and 100 breaststrokes, and the 50 fly.

Auburn’s Zoe Zeller also found herself heavily involved in the lifetime-best conversations, swimming her fastest-ever times in three of the four events in which she swam. Zeller clocked best times in the 100 breast (1:10.53), 200 breast (2:31.62), and the 200 IM (2:19.04).  Zeller raced in both the 100 breast and 200 breast at the 2026 NCAA Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships last season, finishing 39th in the 100 breast (1:00.40) and 28th in the 200 breast (2:09.77).
