Swim Across America Dallas Open Water Event Was A Big Success
“Over $320,000 was raised in our 3rd annual swim. Another perfect and very calm day at Lake Ray Hubbard made this years’ swim one of the fastest on record. 225 swimmers took the plunge into the refreshing lake to swim ½, 1 or 2 miles. 75 volunteers along with kayakers, boaters, and angel swimmers supported their efforts to “Make Waves to Fight Cancer.” (Image courtesy of SAA)

“Jenny Will, a former swimmer at the University of Wisconsin, led the trio in a time of 1:48.27, placing her 26th overall and 5th within the gender.
