Misericordia Hikes Down to Mesa, AZ (Training Trip Video)

The Misericordia University Cougars started 2019 off with a trip down to Mesa, AZ. While other teams went tanning in Florida or an exotic country, the Cougars spent their free time hiking and looking at the mountain scenery of the American southwest.

Kaitlyn Weatherby, Misericordia junior, put together a video highlighting the trip, featuring Grand Canyon views and a blooper reel.

Music: Magic in the Hamptons (Social House), Winnebago (Gryffin), High On Life (Martin Garrix), Feel Good (Felix Jaehn), Call on Me (Ryan Riback Remix), My Way (Calvin Harris)

Misericordia finished 5th out of 12 teams at the 2018 MAC Championships. Yet the Cougars started the new year with respectable dual meet finishes.

Coming off their trip, the Cougar men began with meets against Wilkes and University of Scranton, where they fell short. However, the men were victorious at their January 18th dual against Marywood University.

The Cougar women started their 2019 competition season with wins against Wilkes, Marywood, and University of Scranton.

The Cougars’ next dual will be at King’s College (PA) on January 26th.
