Milwaukee Tabs Alex Hallam as Assistant Coach

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Milwaukee swim & dive team has hired Alex Hallam as an assistant coach, head coach Kyle Clements announced today.

Tabbed an interim assistant coach for the program in 2018-19, Hallam will begin his second season with the Black & Gold in 2019-20.

“I am extremely excited and proud to announce Alex as Milwaukee’s assistant coach,” said head coach Kyle Clements. “In just the one year sharing the pool deck with him, he has worked tirelessly to make our athletes and program better and I look forward to working with him for years to come – he’s earned this.”

Hallam came to Milwaukee with over six years of coaching experience and over 14 years devoted to the sport.

Prior to MKE, Hallam worked as a coach in the Milwaukee area working with the Schroeder Swim Team in Brown Deer, Greendale High School and the Southwest Aquatic Team in Muskego.

The Wausau (Wis.) native is no stranger to the Horizon League, as he graduated from Green Bay and was a four-year swimmer for the Phoenix. He swam distance free, IM and backstroke events with the Phoenix and was name a team captain as a senior.
