Michigan Lakeshore coach resigned after alcohol-related misdemeanor

Resigned Michigan Lakeshore coach Troy Emmons was arrested and charged with two criminal charges two days before his former club announced his immediate resignation, according to MLive.com.

MLive’s Angie Jackson reports that Emmons was arrested on April 5 and charged with indecent exposure and being drunk and disorderly. Emmons posted bail and was released that same day.

Two days later, on April 7, Michigan Lakeshore Aquatics sent a letter to parents announcing that Emmons was resigning immediately. You can read our story on his resignation here.
