Senior Sara Krueger led the RedHawks to a 178-118 victory over Cincinnati on Wednesday night. Krueger led two different 1-2-3 finishes for the RedHawks. She finished first in the 50-yard freestyle (24.22), with seniors Natalie Rohr (24.62) and Gabby Veri (24.72) right behind her. Krueger also clocked in first in the 100-yard freestyle (52.80). Rohr placed second again with a time of 52.87 and junior Logan Klinsky finished third, touching the wall in 53.58.  Krueger’s other individual race was the 200-yard freestyle relay, where she finished in third place (1:55.31).  They ended the night with the 400-yard freestyle relay, where the first-place team, consisting of Krueger, clocked in at 3:32.52.

Ragen Engel, Akron
Freshman / Springfield, Ohio

1. 50 Free / 24.17
1. 100 Fly / 55.94
2. 400 Free Relay / 3:36.87

Ragen Engel swiftly swam the 100 butterfly in 55.94 for first place. Her time broke a pool record at Youngstown States Beeghly Natatorium and led the Zips to sweep the top three spots. Engel also claimed first place in the 50 freestyle as she cruised to a time of 24.17. As the lead in the 400 freestyle second place team (3:36.87), Engel clocked in the first leg of the race in 52.61.

Catherine Schultheis, Buffalo
Freshman / Holly, New York

Event & Time:
1. 100 Free / 53.37
1. 200 Free / 1:56.70
2. 200 Free Relay / 1:40.33

Catherine Schultheis won two individual events, the 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle. She finished those events with times of 53.37 and 1:56.70, respectively. The Holly, NY native was also on 200-yard freestyle relay team that finished second against Niagara in a time of 1:40.33 and swam her 50-yard freestyle portion in 25.71 seconds.
