King Aquatic Club Breaks 13-14 NAG Relay Record

The 13-14 boys of the King Aquatic Club in suburban Seattle are on fire this week at the PNS Long Course Championships.  On Friday night, Thomas Anderson, Mitch Hovis, Koppi Kolyvek, and Zach Johnson set a new 13-14 boys National Age Group Record with a 1:52.78 in the LCM 200 Medley Relay.

It should also be noted that Bellevue Club Swim Team also broke the NAG record with a time of 1:53.10 in the same race!. The previous record was 1:53.27 held by Irvine Aquazot in 2008.

Both teams draw from a large (and different) area – the likelihood of swimmers attending the same school will be small unless they opt for the same private school.
