Keeton Crowe Stays In State with Commitment to Centre College

Incoming freshman Keeton Crowe will be staying in-state as she starts her NCAA career. The Kentucky-based swimmer will be heading to Centre College in Fall 2017. Crowe currently trains with Kentucky Aquatics in Lexington at the University of Kentucky’s aquatics facility. She’ll make the move to Centre College in Dainville after graduating from Paul Dunbar High School  at the end of this school year.

Crowe’s Top Times:

  • 50 yard back- 29.43
  • 100 yard back- 1:00.87
  • 200 yard back- 2:13.40
  • 200 yard IM- 2:17.89
  • 100 yard breast- 1:16.17

Crowe is primarily a backstroker, with a personal best 1:00.87 in the 100 back and a personal best 2:13.40 in the 200 back, both of which she swum in the spring of 2016. She’ll also bring depth in the IMs for Centre College.

Last season, Crowe swam her way to the 2016 Kentucky State Championships in February. She swam the 100 back and 200 IM individually, placing 29th and 34th in those events respectively. She also took on the backstroke leg of her team’s medley relay, leading them off with a 29.43 split en route to a bronze medal.
