PRE-SESSION SCRATCHES

500 free – Ohio State freshman Alexandria Wittman is the top-seeded scratch of the event (35th).  It’s her only event of the day for the Buckeyes, and she is listed in just three events on the psych sheet.  Illinois senior Hailey Booth and Ohio State sophomore Kaitlyn Cerne were the remaining scratches.

200 IM – Things are a bit more interesting in the 200 IM, where Purdue sophomore Meagan Lim, the 17th seed, and Iowa junior Colleen Champa, the 18th seed both scratched.  Both swimmers are only in three events on the psych sheet.  Rutgers senior Greta Leberfinger, Ohio State freshman Zara Bailey, Ohio State sophomore Amanda Petro, and Purdue freshman Anneliese Betts were the other scratches

50 free – In a reseed, Wisconsin freshman Marissa Berg was moved into the heat sheets in the 47th spot.  There were no other scratches in the top 60 of the event.
