Irish Swimmers Travel to Luxembourg for Euro Meet

Irish swimmers travel to Luxembourg today for the Euro Meet, joining a host of Europe’s top swimmers who will compete from Friday to Sunday. The Euro Meet is the first qualifying meet for the Olympic Games for Irish swimmers in 2016 and will feature Olympic, World and European medalists.

Brendan Hyland, Andrew Meegan, Jordan Sloan, Antoinette Neamt, Conor Ferguson, Curtis Coulter and Shane Ryan (representing NAC) will be competing in the long course event from the 29th – 31st January. They will be joined by a team from UCD which includes Irish Record holder Shauna O’Brien and 2015 World Championship swimmer Alex Murphy.
