After taking gold in Paris in the 200 back, Kos will be looking to mimic his success from last summer. Kos enters the 200 back as the 2nd seed (1:54.26), sandwiched between Americans Jack Aikins (seeded 1st at 1:54.25) and Keaton Jones (seeded 3rd at 1:54.61). The top five competitors in the event are separated by half a second, making for a highly anticipated battle for the podium.
Kos is just outside of the podium in multiple races based on his entry times; the 200 IM (8th seed), 100 fly (6th seed), and 100 back (7th seed) are all within striking distance for the versatile Kos.
The 100 back may seem like an outside chance of the podium for the Hungarian. Between top seed Thomas Ceccon and Kos, who currently sits at 7th, there is .24 seconds that separates the seven competitors. It will be imperative that swimmers in contention for a medal swim just about as mistake-free as possible if they want the best chance at the podium. No race competed at these championships has a thinner spread between the top seven competitors (the next closest is the men’s 50 free, with .25 seconds separating 1st to 7th).

Aww you guys even gave us approximate Hungary times. Guess I’m getting up at 4 am.
Someone pls tell me if he’s +6200 in anything
Let me know if you find a site that has the World Champs lines! For entertainment purposes only…of course!
yo that was so funny, and he was first seed out of heats as well
the +6200 odds were posted well before the game and it got changed pretty quickly after it gained traction
i dont get the joke… can someone explain please
He was listed as +6200 on Bovada in the 200 back and someone posted it here. (That’s an INSANE longshot, basically if you bet $100 on it, you’d win $6,200 if he won.)
After hitting an insane amount of parlays, I won the equivalent of a brand-new 2026 Honda Civic.
