With the 2025 World Championships firmly in the rearview mirror, we’re looking ahead to the remaining months of swimming action for this calendar year.
The month of October brings the 3-stop World Aquatics Swimming World Cup, with the European Short Course Championships on the horizon.
Australia, Italy and Japan also have competitions on the agenda for October to keep global swim enthusiasts happy.

Swimming NZ SC champs are on now and six national records broken so far,

Improvements also for Christopher Montana: 27.53 in the 50 br and 1.00.36 in the 100 br.
Montana even beat all the big boys in the A final 🥇
Coulter finished off the meet almost going sub 50 leading off the mixed free relay
Some great swims from Montana and the NSW team. Alex Quach was also amazing to see.
The World Aquatics Open Water Swimming World Cup 2025, Stop 4, will take place October 10 & 11 in Golfo Aranci, Italy.

Yes, World Aquatics announced it during this year’s Congress while at Worlds in Singapore.

Wonder if World Cups will ever release entries. Last year they released them 3 weeks out
Looking at the other meets that is going on at the same time as the WCup there will be a lot of fast swimmers doing other meets, wonder what the possibility could have been if the prize money was higher.
