High-Level International Meets For October 2025

With the 2025 World Championships firmly in the rearview mirror, we’re looking ahead to the remaining months of swimming action for this calendar year.

The month of October brings the 3-stop World Aquatics Swimming World Cup, with the European Short Course Championships on the horizon.

Australia, Italy and Japan also have competitions on the agenda for October to keep global swim enthusiasts happy.

As always, let me know in the comments of any meets I may have inadvertently missed.

10/23 – 10/25 Dutch SC Euros Qualifier (NED)
10/23 – 10/25 North Sea Swim Meet (NOR)
10/23 – 10/25 – World Aquatics Swimming World Cup #3 Toronto (CAN)
10/28 –  11/01 Brazilian Swimming Championships/Jose Finkel Trophy (BRA)
10/30 – 10/31 Riga Sprint (LAT)

Coulter finished off the meet almost going sub 50 leading off the mixed free relay

The World Aquatics Open Water Swimming World Cup 2025, Stop 4, will take place October 10 & 11 in Golfo Aranci, Italy.

Not sure where to post this but based on https://www.swimming.ca/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Olympic-Planner-2025-2029-EN-Sept-24.pdf it looks like next year’s World Cups are in Baku, Tashkent, and Astana

Yes, World Aquatics announced it during this year’s Congress while at Worlds in Singapore.

Looking at the other meets that is going on at the same time as the WCup there will be a lot of fast swimmers doing other meets, wonder what the possibility could have been if the prize money was higher.
