Graham Horrigan Commits to DI Boston University

Fitter and Faster Swim Camps is the proud sponsor of SwimSwam’s College Recruiting Channel and all commitment news. For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.

Graham Horrigan, a current high school senior from Walnut Creek, California, has committed to swim for Division I Boston University. Horrigan will graduate from Las Lomas High School in spring 2020 and join the Terrier’s class of 2024.

Horrigan (called “Grambo” by his team) is a Great White Shark Award recipient along with being a backstroke and butterfly specialist for the Crow Canyon Country Club Sharks. In 2019, he placed 6th in both the 200 LCM butterfly (2:13.98) and 100 backstroke (1:02.23) at the PC OAPB Far Western LCM Championships. He is also a Sectional qualifier.

At the 2020 Patriot League Championships, Horrigan would have placed 20th in the 200 butterfly with his current best time of 1:54.06.

Best SCY Times:

  • 100 backstroke – 51.87
  • 100 butterfly – 51.06
  • 200 butterfly – 1:54.06
  • 400 IM – 4:35.78

At the Patriot League Championships, the Terriers placed 5th as a team under coach Bill Smyth. Multiple school records fell at the meet and 3 team members were given All-Patriot League honors.
