Rachel Resch from Neenah, WI, has verbally committed to Bowling Green State University Falcons. She was ranked 8th on the 2014-15 Wisconsin Girls State Top Times in the 100-yard fly in a time of 57.69.

Resch’s best times are as follows:

  • 100-yard fly: 57.69
  • 200-yard fly: 2:11.82
  • 50-yard free: 24.57
  • 100-yard free: 53.35
  • 200-yard free: 1:56.00
  • 500-yard free: 5:11.66

From 2013 to 2014, Resch has improved her 100-yard fly time by 2 seconds and her 50-yard free time by half a second. If her progression continues over the upcoming seasons, she will claim a spot on the Falcons top-ten all-time individual records.

For the 2015-16 season so far, Resch’s best times would place her 1st in the 500-yard free, 2nd in the 100-yard fly and 3rd in both the 200-yard fly and 200-yard free. She will swim under head coach Matt Ense who is now in his first year at BGSU, after completing the last two years as the University of Cincinnati assistant coach.
