FINIS SIGNS PARALYMPIC GOLD MEDALIST BRAD SNYDER TO TEAM FINIS

Livermore, CA (June 18, 2015) FINIS, announces Brad Snyder as the newest sponsored athlete on Team FINIS. Snyder, a two-time Paralympic Gold Medalist, is a retired U.S. Navy Lt. and motivational speaker on the road to the 2016 summer Paralympic Games in Rio.

“Brad Snyder is one of the most inspiring individuals I have encountered in my professional career. We are proud to support an athlete of his caliber and character. Welcome to the team, Brad.”  – John Mix, FINIS, Inc. CEO

Snyder won a Paralympic gold medal on September 7, 2012, the exact one-year anniversary of the improvised explosive device explosion in Afghanistan that cost him his vision.

Snyder won the Paralympic gold in the S11 100m Freestyle and 400m Freestyle, as well as silver in the 50m Freestyle at the London 2012 Games. In the year ahead, Snyder has his sights set on several international competitions, culminating with the Paralympic Games next summer.

“I am very excited to be part of Team FINIS. I have been a fan of their products, their adherence to quality, and their emphasis on innovation since I first saw a monofin while I was in college at the Naval Academy. I am honored that FINIS is investing in Para-athletes and the Paralympic movement. I will do my best to make them and my community proud while I represent them in competition!  #FINISstrong!” – Brad Snyder

The Factory Agency represents Brad Snyder in his athletic and professional ventures. As a motivational speaker, Snyder hopes to inspire others to embrace challenge, conquer fears or inhibitions, and achieve happiness.
