Andrew Heaston, a current high school senior from Corona, California, has committed to swim for the University of Redlands. Heaston will graduate from Corona High School in spring 2020 and join the Bulldogs’ class of 2024.
Heaston is a current swimmer for Elite Aquatics Sports Team along with swimming for his high school team. He is also a Speedo Champions Series—Carlsbad qualifier.
“I am excited to announce my commitment to the University of Redlands. I chose Redlands because they have a great team and I immediately felt like it is where I belong.”
At the 2020 SCIAC Swimming and Diving Championships with the Bulldogs, Heaston would have had multiple finals performances with his current best times. Most notably, he would have placed 6th in the 100 butterfly (50.53).

- 50 freestyle – 22.34
- 200 freestyle – 1:44.41
- 100 backstroke – 56.75
- 100 butterfly – 50.53
- 200 IM – 1:56.82
- 400 IM – 4:22.99
This year at the SCIAC Championships, the Bulldogs placed 4th as a team. Eight team members were awarded All-SCIAC Awards and the men’s 400 freestyle relay placed 2nd, earned All-Conference honors and received a top-10 school record.
Heaston will begin his swimming career at the University of Redlands fall 2020.
