Fitter and Faster Swim Camps is the proud sponsor of SwimSwam’s College Recruiting Channel and all commitment news. For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.

Orla Clasby, a current high school senior from New Paltz, New York, has committed to swim for Division II Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois. Clasby will graduate from New Paltz High School in spring 2020 and join the Flyers’ class of 2024.

Clasby is a current year-round swimmer for the Hawks Swimming Association.

“I’m very excited to announce my commitment to Lewis University! I chose Lewis because the team, as well as Coach Karns, was so welcoming on my visit, I knew it was the right fit for me. I can’t wait to continue my swimming career on the collegiate level next fall, and I look forward to what’s to come!”

This year at the 2020 GLVC Swimming and Diving Championships with the Flyers, Clasby would have placed 22nd in the 100 breaststroke with her current best time of 1:10.26.
