In a documentary titled “When Everyone Swims“, a light is shed on the importance of water safety, as told through the voices of Olympic swimmers, water safety experts, and families who have lived through the harsh realities of loss. Among some of the key interviewees are former US Olympic swimmers Cullen Jones, Lilly King, Summer Sanders, and Cody Miller.
The film is directed and produced by Emmy Award-winning Jerald B. Harkness, diving into the challenges of learning to swim, highlighting the barriers that keep people out of the water, and the ongoing efforts to change that.
Throughout the documentary, 12 people were interviewed as they shared how swimming has changed their lives, driving home the importance of water safety and education.
