Cal Baptist picked up 45 points on Thursday, and after a net positive of 26 additional points on Wednesday, are now vying for second place in the team standings.
Queens leads on Day 2 with Drury, Fresno Pacific, and Nova S’eastern locked in a tight battle for second place.
At Pac-12s, Cal took down the American Record. This morning, Stanford broke that record. The 2 teams will go head-to-head tonight with their best lineups.
The overall level of competition is undoubtedly high at the 2018 NCAA Championships, but a few swims stood out as “off.”
Stanford’s Katie Ledecky (500 free), Simone Manuel (50 free), and Ella Eastin (200 IM) are chasing their own records today as the Cardinal swimmers hold the NCAA Records in all 3 individual races.
