Harry Cocks Commits To Cumberlands With Converted NAIA Scoring Times

Harry Cocks has announced his commitment to continue his academic and athletic careers at University of the Cumberlands beginning in fall 2026.

Cocks swims for Thanet Swim Club out of Margate, England. Just last month, he had a strong showing at the Swim England South East Region Championships. There he was highlighted by a 2nd place finish in the 400 IM as he touched in a lifetime best 4:37.86. He also was 2nd in the 1500 free with a 16:27.08, and swam to a lifetime best 2:09.65 in the 200 IM for 3rd.

Back in April 2025, Cocks was 38th in the 1500 free at the Aquatics GB Championships as he swam to a 16:40.00.

Cocks’ Best LCM Times (With SCY Conversions) Are:

• 400 IM: 4:37.86 (4:04.55
• 200 IM: 2:09.65 (1:53.91)
• 1500/1650 free: 16:27.08 (16:07.72)

University of the Cumberlands is located in Williamsburg, Kentucky. The University of the Cumberlands men captured the 2026 Mid-South Conference Championships team title and went on to finish 2nd at the 2026 NAIA Championships. The team scored 397 points at NAIA’s to finish behind Keiser who scored 675 points. Cumberlands held off SCAD who was 3rd with 377 points.

Based on his best converted times, Cocks has the potential to make an immediate impact at the conference and national level. His 400 IM converted time would have made the 2026 NAIA ‘B’ final while his 1650 free time would have been 11th, finishing right ahead of Sergio Saldamando Martinez who swam a 16:08.16 for Cumberlands.

Cocks will arrive this fall as a member of the class of 2030 along with Lazar Antonijevic,  Mikolaj Oczkowicz, Matei Radu, Lucas Saldo, Viktor Tjernström, and Karl von Thun.
