It is the busiest week of college dual meets for the 2025-2026 season with almost 100 meets total. Highlighting the competition this week is the Eddie Reese Showdown.
Texas will host Louisville and Ohio State for the Eddie Reese Showdown this week. The team will have posters on site and autographs from the Texas pro group will take place at 5 pm CT before the meet begins at 6 pm CT. All six teams are ranked in the top 15 with the men’s side features #1 Texas, #11 Louisville, and #15 Ohio State. The women’s side features #3 Texas, #7 Louisville, and #13 Ohio State.
Also highlighting the week is the top 15 showdown between Tennessee and Georgia. Tennessee will travel to Athens. The meet features #9 Tennessee and #14 Georgia on the women’s side. Mizuki Hirai of Japan has the chance to make her debut as she arrived in Knoxville this past week. The men’s side features #4 Georgia and #9 Tennessee.

Hey Georgia – The mighty Volunteer Machine will be taking you down soon or due to weather, they GA teams just might have caught a break from being embarrassed.
Saturday is going to be a fun time in Knoxville when the Georgia Dawgs, nervously, roll into town. The “getting ready to shock the swimming world” Lady Vol Empire will be ready.
Wonder what the Men Dawgs will see on deck and in the water? (MAYBE some reinforcements via mid-year.)
The Coonskin hatted, square dancing, barefoot Vol Men just might make tsunami size waves and wash the dawgs up on the pool deck.
