Nicholas Cisco, a senior from Napa High School (CA), will stay close-to-home this Fall as he announced his commitment to the University of Pacific: about 70 miles from his home. He currently swims for the Napa Valley Swim Team.
“I’m very excited to be spending my next four years at the University of Pacific. The team, the campus, the teachers, and the coaching staff amazed me and it made me feel right at home. I can’t wait to be with this amazing coaching staff and this very fun and exciting team. GO TIGERS!!!!!”
Cisco will come in as a middle-distance freestyle and IM specialist for Coach Peter Richardson and the Tigers. Although in the West Coast Conference for most sports, Pacific swims in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) which includes teams from California, Utah, and Hawaii.

- 50 Freestyle: 23.15
- 100 Freestyle: 49.50
- 200 Freestyle: 1:46.20
- 500 Freestyle: 4:58.94
- 200 IM: 2:02.07
Cisco will try to ride the momentum he currently is enjoying having earned best times in all his top events in the past season. He has seen consistent improvement and will need to continue that to qualify for the 2020 MPSF Championships as a freshman. In his 200 freestyle, an event he has seen his greatest improvement knocking off four seconds in the past two seasons, another three seconds will have to be shaved to be in contention for advancing to the bonus consolation at conference based on results from the past two seasons.
