Bucknell head swimming and diving coach Dan Schinnerer announced seven newcomers that will be joining the Bison men’s program in 2014-15. The incoming group will be joining a team that returns three All-Patriot League selections and lost just five seniors to graduation.

“We are very excited about our incoming class,” mentioned Schinnerer, the 2008 and 2010 Patriot League Men’s Coach of the Year. “It has the potential to have an immediate and significant impact on our team.  As the Patriot League continues to improve in quality and depth it was crucial that our team improve its quality and depth. This class has the ability to make a difference in those two areas. In addition, this class demonstrates our commitment to getting the best student-athletes and the best fits for Bucknell, both close to home and farther afield. The class includes fine young men from nearby in Pennsylvania and from across the country, including California and North Carolina.”

The seven members of the Class of 2018 come from four states. In addition to Pennsylvania, California and North Carolina, there are two newcomers from Maryland.

Bucknell is coming off a 2013-14 campaign where it was 7-3 in dual competition and finished in fourth place out of 10 schools at the Patriot League Championships.
