Bryant Men Off to Early Lead in Inaugural NEC Men’s Conference Champs

2021 NEC CHAMPIONSHIPS

Diving has concluded at the 2021 Northeast Conference Championships, as the Bryant men and Sacred Heart women hold on to leads heading into the swimming portion of the meet at Keystone State. The Bryant women are looking to defend their 2020 title, while this is the inaugural season for the Northeast Conference men.

Bryant leads the men by a landslide after diving, going 1-2-3 on both boards. Evan Clark won the 3-meter and Drew Arnold the 1-meter, and the divers earned Co-Outstanding Divers of the Meet awards.

On the women’s side, Sacred Heart keyed on their big diving group as all five women contributed to push them to the lead despite not winning either diving event. Bryant sophomore Kyri Chambo posted wins on both boards to position them second overall in the team race. She was named the NEC Outstanding Diver of the Meet after she doubled up for the second straight year, making her undefeated in her collegiate career at the NEC Champs.
