Brent Hayden Gives Perspective on International Swimmers’ Alliance

In the SwimSwam Podcast dive deeper into the sport you love with insider conversations about swimming. Hosted by Coleman Hodges and Gold Medal Mel Stewart, SwimSwam welcomes both the biggest names in swimming that you already know, and rising stars that you need to get to know, as we break down the past, present, and future of aquatic sports.

We sat down with Brent Hayden, the Canadian Olympic medalist who is now on the athlete board of the International Swimmers’ Alliance. Hayden discusses what it’s been like to cooperate with a group of athletes like this and what he thinks they can accomplish for swimmers everywhere moving forward. Hayden emphasizes that he wanted to be a part of this as a way to give back to the sport that has already given him so much. He’s looking to make changes not necessarily to this generation, but the generations in swimming to come.
