Connor Green
Born Feb. 4, 1996 in Cincinnati, Ohio Connor Green is a freshman at the University of California, Berkeley. Although a native Ohioan, Green grew up in New England attending Boston College High School and competing for Bluefish Swim Club – the same club that produced Olympian, Elizabeth Beisel. Standing 6’2″ Green is an IM and backstroke specialist, and at the time of his commitment added to Cal’s impressive backstroke depth. Swimming World magazine went so far as to calling him a “beast” in the backstroke events. A huge fan of the Harry Potter books and the New England Patriots, Green has some versatility in addition to his backstroke talent – he had long course Junior cuts in seven events. Green’s intended major is Business, and even claimed that he was excited to take Econ 101.

Green is in his freshman season at Cal.
International Competition
Currently Green is a member of the USA Swimming National Team after placing fifth in the 200m backstroke at the 2014 Phillips 66 National Championships. He also was a member of the National Junior Team from 2012-2014, and won a bronze medal in the 200m backstroke at the 2013 FINA World Junior Championships.
At the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials, Green finished 21st in the 200m backstroke.
