BGSU Scores 5th Verbal: Scottsdale Sprinter Noelle Lavigne

The Bowling Green State University women’s swimming and diving team has been on a recruiting tear this season, already securing verbal commitments from Gabby Loeck, Jordan Andrusak, Monona Martin, and Shaunna Jones. Now they’ve added Arizona’s Noelle Lavigne name to the list, with her announcement via Twitter:

Lavigne swims for Scottsdale Aquatic Club and Desert Vista High School in Phoenix, Arizona. She was an A-finalist in both the 50 (6th) and 100 (7th) freestyles at the 2015 Arizona Division I State Championships last fall. At Mount Hood Sectionals this summer she competed in the 50/100 free and 100/200 back, notching a personal-best in the 50 free.

Her top SCY times are:

  • 50 free – 24.27
  • 100 free – 53.18
  • 200 free – 1:58.61
  • 100 back – 1:01.53
  • 200 back – 2:09.72

“I chose Bowling Green for the great academics and the amazing team dynamic. The entire team is so supportive and spirited. I couldn’t be prouder to call myself a future falcon! Talons up!”
