Chelsie Miller wins 400 IM at Shenandoah Sectionals Thursday night

Thursday night’s action at the Speedo Sectional in Shenandoah, Texas was brief, with just four individual events and two relay races among the slated events. Rising Kansas junior Chelsie Miller grabbed the headlines, winning the women’s 400 IM in runaway fashion.

Cunha nips Jennings in Open Water photo finish to claim World Cup lead

Brazil’s Ana Marcela Cunha won a nailbiter at the Lac St. Jean, Canada stop of FINA’s Open Water 10K World Cup to take over the lead in the points standings. Meanwhile Germany’s Andreas Waschburger picked up the men’s win on what’s been a German-dominated tour so far.

Brown to split men’s and women’s teams after coach’s retirement
