BOSTON, Mass. – Army West Point swimming & diving put on a show in Boston on Friday evening for their double dual meet against Boston University and Boston College to earn wins over both opponents for both the men’s and the women’s teams.
The Black Knights collected 15 first place finishes over the course of the meet, eight of which came from the women’s team.

The Black Knights were strong in the water, claiming a pool record at the FitRec Competition Pool with a 1:27.49 in the men’s 200 medley relay from Joey Kling, Kohen Rankin, Daniel Verdolaga, and Thomas Hadji in the meet’s opening event before Rankin went on to set an individual pool record in the men’s 100 breast with a 52.50 to finish first.

The Black Knights were efficient from the jump on the women’s side with eight event wins in the double dual meet including two wins each for Hadley Futch and Molly Webber. Futch swept both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards for the diving team while Webber claimed first place in the women’s 100 and 200 free events.
Webber set a program record in the 200 free with a hand-timed 1:46.42 during the meet, then followed it up with a 1:46.26 as a time trial after the meet to break Clara Williams’ program record of 1:46.73 set in 2024.

UP NEXT
Army will return to Crandall Pool over Thursday-Friday, November 6-7 to face Penn State. The diving portion of the meet will commence at 5 p.m. on November 6 with the swimming portion of the meet to follow at 4 p.m. November 7.

BOSTON, Mass. – The Boston College Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving team double dual meet on Friday night at the FitRec Competition Pool on the campus of Boston University.
BC earned two first-place finishes throughout the evening, with one individual and one relay.
Palmer Bice touched the wall in 1:39.39 to win the 200-yard freestyle.
The men’s 200 freestyle relay of Matt Lang, Luke Condon, Lucas Bailey, and Charles Bruce swam a school record 1:20.22, which helped them win the race.
Lang’s time of 20.16 in the 50 free is the third fastest in program history and helped him earn second.
The Eagles, Terriers, and Black Knights competed in 26 total events, with the men defeating BU, 128-115, but fell to Army. The women fell to both the Terriers and Black Knights.
The Eagles had six individual runner-up finishes and two relay runner-ups. Matt Lang, Evan Tack, Lucas Bailey, Juliene Saliou, Ben Huffman, and Bice all came in second in their respective events.
BC also recorded six third-place individual finishes and came in third in the women’s 200-yard medley. Lauren Lee and Nick Fabian led the way with two each. Courtney Watts, Sirui Wang, and Gabriel Aleman all recorded third-place finishes as well.

BOSTON – The Boston University women’s swimming & diving program shattered two school records during a double dual meet on Friday evening at the FitRec Competition Pool, taking down Boston College 168-75 while dropping a 131-112 result to Army West Point.
Freshman Kiki Rampersad played a role in both records, finishing the 100 butterfly in 53.79 seconds for the fastest time in over 15 years. She was also the third leg in the 200 freestyle relay that featured four rookies: Molly Barber, Danka Ndubuisi, Rampersad and Lily Osborn. The group finished in 1:31.87 to break last season’s record.
Barber was also victorious in the 50 free in 22.77 seconds and earned second in the 100 free at 50.18 seconds. Ndubuisi completed the 200 individual medley in 2:04.01 and the 100 backstroke in 55.30 seconds for a pair of wins.
Freshman Alayna Kennedy was the runner-up in both diving events, totaling 283.7 points on the 1-meter and 3-meter boards.
BU’s victory over Boston College was its first since Jan. 26, 2019.
The Terriers turn their attention to a dual meet at UMass on Saturday (Nov. 8) at 11 a.m.

BOSTON – The Boston University men’s swimming & diving program competed, but ultimately fell to Army West Point (135-108) and Boston College (128-115) in a double dual meet on Friday evening at the FitRec Competition Pool.
Senior Tony Ponomarev captured a win in the 100 backstroke with a time of 48.92 seconds while sophomore Giovanni Sullo won the 500 freestyle at 4:31.06. Sullo added a runner-up performance in the 1000 free, clocking in at 9:22.97.
On the springboard, junior Zein Mahana won both the 1-meter (286.85 points) and 3-meter (339.5) dives. Freshmen Tyler Robinson and Ethan Wong followed Mahana with second-place scores in the 1-meter and 3-meter, respectively.
BU turns its attention to a dual meet at UMass on Saturday (Nov. 8) at 11 a.m.
