Application Open: Bond University Georgina Hope Rinehart Scholarship

Georgina Hope Rinehart and Bond University have joined forces to offer an exciting opportunity for two swimmers to combine swimming and study.

The Bond University Georgina Hope Rinehart Swimming Excellence Scholarship is once again on offer, providing an opportunity for two high performance swimmers to maintain their elite training and competition as well as gain an outstanding education at Bond University in Queensland.

The scholarships will provide full-fee tuition for two swimmers plus $21,000 in living expenses for each year of study, thanks to the financial support of the Georgina Hope Swimmers Foundation.

Earlier this year, Australian Swim Team members Madeline Groves and Alexander Graham were awarded the 2015 Georgina Hope Rinehart Swimming Excellence Scholarships and have maintained both their swimming and study throughout the year.

In August Groves will take to the world stage to compete at the 2015 FINA World Championships in the 100 and 200m butterfly events.

The scholarships provide the chance to positively shape the development of the student’s sporting performance and also prepare them for life beyond sport.

Applications will close on July 31, for further information regarding the scholarship follow this link to the Bond University website – https://bond.edu.au/scholarship/georgina-hope-rinehart-swimming-excellence-scholarship
