Annalee Johnson Announces Transfer to Virginia Tech from Penn State

Stafford, Virginia-native Annalee Johnson will return to her home state in the fall to swim for Virginia Tech in her final two years of eligibility.

Johnson attended Mountain View High School where she swam for Jeremy Linn. She represented Nation’s Capital Swim Club year-round and continued to swim for them outside of college. A breaststroker who made significant improvements in high school, Johnson achieved personal bests in the 100 breast (1:02.68), 200 breast (2:13.67), and 200 IM (2:04.55) at the 2017 Big Ten Championships as a freshman. She was the Nittany Lions’ top breaststroker for the 2016-17 season. This past year she notched the team’s second-best times in the 100/200 breast. Her last meet was the 2018 Ohio State Winter Invite.
