The 2025 U.S. Open is set to get underway this evening in Austin, Texas, with the four-day competition running through Saturday.

The competition will feature preliminary sessions beginning at 9:00 a.m. local time, with finals following at 6:00 p.m. local time, except for Wednesday’s distance session, which will begin at 4:00 p.m. local time. See the table below for converted start times.

Note: Only the fastest (single) seeded heat of women’s and men’s 800 free will be swum in the finals session. All other heats will swim slowest to fastest, alternating women and men, beginning at a time to be determined. The start time will be set so that the second-fastest seeded heat of the men’s 800 concludes 75 minutes before the evening finals session is scheduled to begin.
